Trolley built the map. DiscoFi built the road.

Trolley knows the music business. They have paid royalties to artists in 210 countries for years, and anyone who says otherwise has not done the work. The question is not whether Trolley understands your world. It is how fast money moves once it leaves your account.

Where Trolley is stronger

Global reach, DAC7 and OECD reporting, Know Your Artist verification, and a customer list that includes labels and distributors you have heard of. If your recipients are spread across five continents, Trolley’s coverage is hard to match.

Where the two diverge

What “instant” means
Trolley’s instant payouts go to debit cards and digital wallets, at 1.00% with a $1.50 minimum. Real-time bank rails, RTP and FedNow, do not appear on their site. DiscoFi settles directly to a US bank account in 60 seconds or less on instant rails.
Whose infrastructure
Trolley is a licensed money transmitter with deposits at Cross River Bank. DiscoFi runs on FinWise Bank’s charter, and the bank is the system of record for compliance. Two different structures. We think ours keeps the money closer to the bank.
Price shape
Trolley is modular: Pay at $2,399 a year, Tax at $2,399, Trust and Sync at $1,199 each, then $1.00 per ACH, 2% FX, $2 per tax statement, $2.50 per identity scan. DiscoFi is one platform fee and one rate on volume.

Trolley figures reflect what they publish as of September 2026, and are marked where they rest on third-party reporting. DiscoFi settles on instant rails in 60 seconds or less.* See Instant Pay disclosure

Who should pick which

Pick Trolley if your artists are everywhere. Pick DiscoFi if your artists, athletes and crews are in the US and the delay between earned and paid is the thing you want to kill.
